Community Garden
Our mission is to provide a hands-on educational experience for our students to learn about the fundamentals of preparing and caring for herb and produce gardens, while demonstrating the importance of caring for our earth and ourselves.
We are dedicated to creating an outdoor learning space to actively confront two social issues effecting our students and our world: hunger and obesity. In our science lessons, we focus on sustainability and conservation. We also incorporate the garden experience into our physical education curriculum to illustrate the importance of nutrition and exercise.
