Do you still remember your first trip to Washington DC?
There are 115 excited 5th graders eager to attend the Brier Creek Elementary field trip to Washington D.C. this winter. Unfortunately in these difficult economic times, many of our families will not be able to cover the $300 cost for their child to attend this 3-day, once-in-a-lifetime event. The Brier Creek Elementary School PTA would like to raise $10,000 to lower the per person cost for everyone and provide scholarships to those in need.
Here are two ways for you or your organization to be a sponsor for this trip:
Matching Grants: We’re inviting businesses, area churches & individuals to support our fundraising families by sponsoring a matching grant on our online fundraising site. Matching grants encourage donors to be more generous. The types of grants are shown below; the amount is entirely up to you. Your grant would be prominently listed on our fundraising site, which has a page for each 5th grade class (www.razoo.com/team/BCES-5th-Grade-DC-Trip).
Please let us know if you would consider providing a matching grant. You would be helping kids in need go on the trip of a lifetime!
