What is the Annual Membership and Giving Drive?

We are Soaring to New Heights and kicking off the school year with our Annual Membership Drive combined with our Annual Giving Drive. Yes, this is an ANNUAL membership - so if you have joined in previous years, we need your support again this year! An annual individual membership is $10.00 or a family membership is $15.00. Your support will help dozens of valuable student enrichment programs!

We want to encourage you to join the PTA AND consider taking part in our Annual Giving Drive. Your tax-deductible donation will help enhance the learning environment at Brier Creek Elementary School. No donation is too small or too large!

                          Why should I get involved?

A strong PTA has a direct impact on your children and the quality of their school.

The PTA has the ability, more than any other organization, to make a school a better place for your children to achieve academic excellence. By becoming a PTA member, you can help identify the needs of the school and develop solutions that may include: making the school safer, making the school more technologically advanced, and enriching educational opportunities within the school.

When parents are involved in education, student academic performance improves.

Involvement in PTA allows you to be involved in your child's education, allows you to get to better know the staff and become more familiar with the school. Even if you do not have a great deal of time to devote to PTA activities, by becoming a member and attending meetings you are showing your child that you believe their education is important!

With your support, our school, teachers and children will have access to excellent learning resources, school supplies, and enrichment opportunities.

The PTA helps to bridge the gap in state funding shortfalls and provide the financial resources necessary for Brier Creek Elementary School to soar to new heights.

How can I help? We are always in need of volunteers. If you would like to be more involved with this year's PTA please review the list of planned events on the Activities tab and email the PTA at info@briercreekpta.org to add your name.

What has the PTA helped to accomplish?
