BCES PTA WALK-A-THON
Get ready…..Get set….Go!! As a way to promote school spirit with a
focus on fitness the students of BCES will be participating in our 2nd annual
Walk-A-Thon on Tuesday November 15th.
All students will walk a designated course for a set time during recess. Money raised from the Walk-a-Thon will be used to support programs that directly benefit the children of Brier Creek Elementary School. Although this is a fundraising event, all children may participate in the Walk-a-Thon, even if they do not seek donations to do so.
Students will have the opportunity to earn some terrific prizes for participating!
Fantastic Prizes
Every student will receive a fun key tag/zipper pull on the day of the event, just for participating!
Class Prizes
The class in each grade that collects the most pledges will earn an extra recess period. The overall top collecting class will also receive a pizza party!
Individual Prizes
The student that collects the most donations in support of the Walk-a-Thon will win a

- Students collecting donations totaling over $50 will be entered into a drawing to win one of 2 AWESOME Fuji 14 MP camera bundles. Includes camera, case & 4 GB SD memory card.
